Julia Kong

Staying true to who I am while not forgetting who I was, I find comfort in my own self narrative. I’m going back to examine and recollect my childhood and teen years to find and recognize patterns through my use of escapism. Unintentional or not, I grew up with a disconnect from reality. This inspires my work as a youthful fashion designer while holding ethical and sustainable goals with an interest in material and women’s wear.
