Creative Intern
The Trade Group
Dallas, TX
May 2016 - Aug 2016 (3 months)
Working for The Trade Group, I was thrown right into client work. Growing immensely as a company, they were consistantly busy, and I got to work on real projects only a couple weeks into the internship. I saw a wide variety of projects ranging from 10x10s to an RFP for Dr. Pepper Snapple Group. It was an amazing experience that developed me greatly as a young designer.

Exhibit Design Intern
Eagan, MN
May 2015 - Aug 2015 (3 months)
Learned about the Skyline company and about a system exhibit house versus a custom house. I observed and worked with along side of: professional exhibit designers, graphic designers, project managers, sales reps, production teams & more. I sat in on client meetings and got to design exhibit booths along side the designer. I learned how Skyline approaches the design process and got to witness all the different jobs that are needed to produce a Skyline booth. Besides designing, I got to experience working on "the floor" and actually building exhibits with my hands while learning all the different systems that Skyline has to offer. This was a great experience and I hope to get a different internship possibly with a custom house to see a different perspective this summer!

Campus Union Marketing Assistant

Sep 2014 - May 2015 (8 months)
Daily duties included the creation of posters, table tents, monthly calendars, invites and other advertising elements for all the variety of activities that dealt with events hosted by the Bemidji State University Campus Union. I worked with other positions on a team as well, called the "Leadership team" and helped think of new ideas to bring to campus that would be appealing to college students.
