Short Term Rental Renovation

This project was the renovation of an existing 1 bedroom home adjacent to the owner's private residence. The entire interior was gutted to add an additional bedroom, raise the ceiling, remove the existing HVAC ducting, and add additional windows to provide a connection with nature. The front entry was relocated for a more private entrance, and additional back door added to gain access to the new private deck. A new 7 -foot fence provides some outdoor interest while also creating separation from the Owner's private residence. Flagstone forms a safe and attractive path from the home to the new gravel drive and to the private deck in the back. Since this is a short term rental, the interior has been designed for a fun, unique stay in a more contemporary take on the Bohemian style.
