* I designed the UX for banking and finance applications to cater to the company's diverse clientele. * Modernizing the UI of applications and using iterative patterns for better customer retention and a feeling of trust formed the basis of my visual design endeavors. * I achieved this by making effective use of each device (tablet, PC, mobile) for a consistent UX. * Prioritization of tasks, features and functions of target customers was determined by interviews with stakeholders and product managers. * Designed detailed wireframes for every screen and state and won approval from a difficult stakeholder. * Identified easy-to-fix usability issues by conducting a quick heuristic review. * I participated in focus group discussions, identified opportunities that balanced the needs of the users with those of the client, and created medium-fidelity interactive prototypes. * I was responsible for the visual design of the final product mock-ups for the client. * My project adopted Agile development, and I worked closely with engineers and analysts to design and groom features of the product needed in sprint cycles.

UI and Graphic Designer

I'm currently an integral part of the company's first UX team. I've been given the responsibility of improving the human computer interaction between touch screen kiosks, their respective instruments and lab technicians. I achieve this through research in the field of automated microbiology, contextual inquiries to end users, and designing well-structured IA/UX/ wireframe and visual design deliverables. * I conducted a card-sort and consolidated research findings. Based on findings, I re-structured the IA for ease of use. * I designed and tested high-fidelity prototypes with users of 2 countries, and identified important user workflows and patterns when they operate a particular medical instrument. * As a contributor to the newly formed UX team, I'm engaged in standardization of UI elements and interactions used across all BD products in order to form a robust and sustainable design language. * Carefully selecting modal dialog design, toast message design, color notifications and documenting the why and how of these decisions is what I am working on at present.
