Race the Sun used a live video overlaid with a user interface which would inform the player. Kind of like Rock Band, actually.
In this activity, the player needed to simulate the four-wheel drive suspension, by using the stick to keep the car in balance during the drive.
Things certainly got tougher when things started moving faster.
The video would slow down for a bit to explain the next activity - This one explaining gear shifting for mountain driving.
Shifting was all about timing, and the closer the player got to shifting at the right moment, the better their score.
Bad things can happen when a pickup truck is carrying a bed full of tires. Better test the Land Rover's dodging skills.
