UX Designer
Salt Lake City, UT
Dec 2015 - Present (10 years 6 months)
As a UX Designer, I look at ways to enhance a user's experience in any way that I can. From making things easier to find, easier to read, easier to access, or easier to utilize, I hope to help students at WGU to best utilize the tools they need to achieve their goals both in education and in their lives.

UX/UI Designer
Brigham Young University
Jun 2014 - Dec 2015 (1 year 6 months)
I utilize personal meetings and user stories from product owners to develop the flow for users, from the larger picture of a project down to the minute details of look, feel, and experience. Using sketches, mockups, and wireframes, I then develop the interface designs for use on multiple apps and websites.
My goal on every project is to make things as intuitive and even entertaining as possible as possible, so that users can quickly, efficiently, and pleasantly perform the tasks that they are trying to accomplish.

Game Designer
NinjaBee / Wahoo Studios
Jun 2013 - Oct 2015 (2 years 4 months)
I was a game designer for NinjaBee/Wahoo Studios, where I developed game projects for a number of outside clients, including Verizon, Land Rover, Sony Pictures, Acuvue, Carte Noire, and Subaru.
On each project, I conceptualized, proposed, developed and delivered, working in multidisciplinary teams to create the best games possible, and I did everything to surpass expectations for each project that I worked on.
For each, I would develop mockups and/or wireframes as necessary, and incorporate feedback in order to create the best experience possible for the player.
I developed user interface, animations, user experience and gameplay for each project using Flash-based systems and scripting, as well as providing art assets using Photoshop, and creating/editing sound.

Film Producer
Below The Line - Pilot
Dec 2008 - Apr 2010 (1 year 4 months)
Below The Line was an independent television pilot exploring those on a television set who are often overlooked - the grips, the electrics, the producer's assistants, the camera guys, etc. The idea was to have a show within a show, as the story played out during the filming of the hit procedural drama, Sugar and Spies.
I was one of the original creators of the show, along with Weston Critchfield and Chris Clark, and during filming was responsible for unit production, scheduling, and day-to-day operations management of this independent television sitcom pilot submitted to ITVFest in 2010.
