Starting lights animation and UI example.
In Rush, the track would turn as the player would steer, making for very white-knuckle reflexive gameplay.
During the race, the placement UI would update based on the player's position - High speed turns also made for spectacular moments and oft-time crashes into a wall.
As the player crossed the finish line, animated checkers would appear from screen left and screen right.

This is my first professional game design project (as in, one I was contracted and paid for). Made as an Xbox Dashboard promotional game for the Ron Howard film, Rush, it's a high-paced top-down racer.
