The chassis for this game was built off the foundation that we created for the Rush title. It allowed us to get into the more intricate parts of making the drones work right.
During the starting countdown, a "drone" would hover in and toss out a display. The UI on the left was dynamic, displaying gas, brake, speed, turbo boosting, as well as the "SI-Drive" which was kind of like a slowed-down concentration mode.
When the car ran into a drone, it would glow red, with an accompanying animation.
The goal of the game is all about time and precision, and the player is rewarded for not hitting the drones, and for the fastest time.
It took some serious racing skill to make it onto this list.

Based on a commercial by the same (long) name, WRX STI vs The Drones was a top-down racing adgame for the Xbox Dashboard.
