About
A graduate of Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design. As a way to further my knowledge out of college, I attended trade shows and learning conferences before starting a three month internship.
Following my three month internship I was employed at Glen Raven working on a Trade Show and Events Team as a Coordinator and Design Coordinator. Through this I aided the team by using my design skills to enhance the designs of the companies' booths while working with hired exhibit houses.
Some skills I have competence in include the use of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, and Lightroom, as well as Rhinoceros and Solidworks. I also have skills in research, ideating, sketching, and prototyping during the design process. Some prototyping abilities include woodworking, metalworking, ceramics, and welding. -

Trade Show and Event Design CoordinatorGlen Raven IncorporatedBurlington, NCSep 2015 - May 2017 (1 year 8 months)Following an internship I moved to work in Glen Raven’s marketing department on the Trade Show and Event team as a trade show and event coordinator. As a trade show and event coordinator I assisted the trade show event specialist with the planning of trade shows and events Glen Raven participated in yearly. Other duties included working with Glen Raven’s creative team to conceptualize booth designs and working with the exhibit houses to create a finished product.

Worked under Kelly May and was tasked to work on projects dealing with the executive offices.
