Lauren Poole

Lauren Lesley Poole grew up in South Carolina where she began her career in 2007 after graduating from Converse College with a B.F.A. in Studio Art, concentration in Oil Painting, and receiving a Digital Design degree from the Art Institute. She began working as a Graphic Designer for a T-shirt company called Geneologie where she was constantly sketching illustrations and drawing patterns. During that time, she opened an Etsy shop and worked on outside freelance projects designing greeting cards and wedding invitations for companies such as Tiny Prints and Look Love Send.

In March of 2012, she moved to Atlanta and joined Surya, a fast-growing wholesaler in home decor. As a key member of the Product Development team, she designed hundreds of on-trend textiles to help the company grow from a $50 million company to a $100 million company in 3 short years. Focusing primarily on the rug and pillow categories, Lauren helped expand the product line tremendously. In 2015, Lauren was promoted to Senior Designer for Artistic Weavers, a mass merchant brand with a focus on E-commerce channels.

She continues to engage her passion for illustration work through her Etsy shop, designing hand-drawn yoga poses and vector character drawings during her spare time.
