“Fashion is the armor to survive the reality of everyday life.” – Bill Cunningham
“Elegance is elimination.” – Cristóbal Balenciaga
A well-known philosopher Reggio Emilia once said, “A child has 100 languages.” So as adults. For me, fashion is my language of self-expression. I love imagining different styles and outfits for various settings—movies, musicals, and dance performances. It’s incredible to see how each garment transforms a person and tells different story: no matter a beautifully fitted evening gown or loose fit tailor jacket.
The boldest decision I ever made was leaving my 10-year career as an educator to study fashion design in Paris. I knew I had found my true passion when I spent eight hours sewing lace in the loft of a 500-year-old Haussmann building, completely lost in the “zone.” My style is both romantic and practical, and I am particularly drawn to costume design and lingerie.
