I'm a prolific 20-year 2D visual/product designer and strategic/brand marketing lead coming from start-ups, a Silicon Valley T100 and D.C. F500 management consulting, with a passion for taking STEM edu by taking its design into new consumer environments. A serial founder, my company's Thinker Collection has been worn by "Sheldon" on 30+ episodes and TV ad promos of "The Big Bang Theory" and gifted the Oscars(R) by invitation. Latest product additions are STEM coloring books for kids and a licensing gallery of dozens of product categories including home.
Energized by conceiving digital/physical products/companies and finding market opportunities napkin sketch and across product categories, my niche is strategy, IP/features, targets, models, funding, biz dev/PR, launch/growth. A mid-brain thinker, my genome is half artistry/design and half engineering/invention.
I was recently a panel speaker at Qualcomm's second annual tech convergence event for girls and women in STEM. Have published at Women 2.0, coached Startup Weekend San Diego teams that won Qualcomm Labs awards, and advised Sunnyvale incubator ventures on marketing/features/UX. I've led early-stage marketing for mobile, incubated themed retail start-ups, renovated homes to profit, managed Sun Microsystems products at a master VAR and architected Sun's first campus retail channel (awarded), and consulted to F500 on global market expansion for large brands like McCormick and Wrigley.
Have received at least four recommendations, several of which disappeared when I revised my profile and omitted several jobs.

Education & Research Market Segment Manager / Channel ArchitectSun Microsystems, Inc.1988 - 1992 (4 years)At Corporate Market Development industry vertical Education & Research Marketing in PAL-1/Sun HQ, I championed the Campus Dealer Channel, Sun's first retail market, offering SPARCstations through campus bookstores at the top STEM schools across the USA and Asia. Designed brand extension look and all POS materials, and hosted launch events at first schools including RPI and USC. With CEO's help, broke legal logjam and negotiated shortened reseller contract with store management similar to that of Apple. Received USA Eastern Area Team Player award.
Also led Loan-to-Own program for US Field Organization providing Sun workstations to 100 new VAR customers, and analyzed channel sales of Sun-2, Sun-3 and 386i workstations.
