Luke Farley

Vermilion & Cinnabar is a Thai and Indian restaurant famed for it’s opulence and grand design. I began as a two day a week designer but within a year I’ve been promoted the lead of Graphics and Illustration full time, producing artwork for all creative platforms, some of these include: menu designs and menu updates, events posters, flyers, booklets, magazine adverts, banners, Web graphics and many other creative projects including artwork for social Media and newsletters.

A determined and creative Graphic Designer who is dedicated, reliable and adaptable. I am interested i strong creative roles and possess valuable experience in graphics, illustration and web design.

Tomfoolery at 34 is a new restaurant set up this year in Alderley Edge. It’s a high contrast being an English/American bar-cafe-restaurant, built around 80’s/90’s Nostalgia. I had full graphical responsibility, building the brand, designing the shop front, I hand painted a series of wall murals on the interior. Working closely with the Managing Director and social media/marketing team, I had several adverts published in ‘Skinny’, ‘Crack’, ‘Cheshire’ and ‘Cheshire life’ magazines as well as a one by six meter Banner that went up in Wilmslow train station. I played a huge role in the design of Tomfoolery’s website, Which is heavily Illustration based.

Lacamanda Ltd

Lacamanda Ltd is a well established clothing Label which carries three brands. I have been in charge of maintaining each e commerce website for our brands and created web graphics to showcase our collections effectively as well as producing imagery to display our online promotions. With regard to maintaining the website I regularly produce web banners, weekly newsletters to create customer engagement, and I formulate our product catalogues for sales agents and wholesale customers.
I also created online Graphics for well established high street clothing retailers, including ‘Bank’ and ‘Burtons’, to assist them in advertising and promoting our brands on their respective websites in order to improve our brand image and increase sales.
For Bank I also created point and sale to display in their stores and pitched shop window displays.

The Lacamanda Group- I mainly worked on developing shirt graphics for the clothing brand Bewley & Ritch. I shadowed the Head Fashion Designer and Graphic Designer which helped develop me further and later helped me secure a job there the following year.
