For this project, I had to design a unique toy for an infant, age 0 - 12 months, that was not only visually appealing, but also helped develop their motor neuron skills in this critical window of brain growth.

The design I settled on was a wooden block rattle in which the blocks can be felt, rotated, shook, and slid to help develop tactile skills, and muscle growth.

The next step was to then create an advertising poster to market this toy. The name "Lady Bug Shake" was chosen as it is fun and appeals to kids, and also allowed the designer to add lady bug features of a face, antennas, and wings to the blocks.
