Mike Barbush

As an independent design consultant I have had the opportunity to participate on teams working on automotive interior and exterior, aerospace, and consumer electronic programs. Ideation sketching, rendering and refinement of design is my wheelhouse, but in my experience as a consultant I have also been able to contribute to project management, 3-d development and support, and always looking to hone my skills regardless of what the task is. Being able to fit into teams working remotely and group communication are strengths I've found beneficial. Whether its homologating an interior or conceptualizing seating layout for aerospace applications I love new challenges, and always looking to learn something as I go.

Primary focus is on automotive interior design, sketching and 3D modeling. Responsibilities also include interior package design, product design / development and project management. As the interface between clients and our team I help schedule projects, and allocate resources to make sure projects stay on schedule and maintain a standard of quality in addition to design.

As an independent design consultant my clients included, Henrik Fisker, Halpin Solutions, and Innovative Creative Group. All client work focused on automotive interiors.

Responsible for 2-D design and concept research, visualization sketches and renderings as well as 3-D sketch modeling (Digital and Physical). 3-D Surface refinement working with clay and digital modelers from overall interior design to parts and detail components. Oversight of model construction and assembly off sight in facilities in Korea.

Interior design internship, focus was an interior project for Gen-Y based on the CRV platform. My Evolution concept was an interior that transitions with young couples into parenthood.
