University of British Columbia graduate of International Relations and Mandarin Chinese.
All my life I have loved to create and dissect everything from musical instruments to clay sculptures to electronic devices. I have always found great beauty in utility and am fascinated by the objects and systems that we employ every day. More recently my studies, work experience, and mentors have instilled in me a desire to create social value for those who need it most. I am now searching for a career in which I can use my passion for creative design to improve the lives of those in need.
My interests and experiences span a wide range of fields including politics, international policy, design, consulting, finance, philanthropy, and social entrepreneurship. My ambition is to find new ways of creating social value through innovative business practices and governmental policies, and to work in environments that push my comfort level and require dynamic thinking to solve complex problems.
My recreational time is spent reading anything and everything, ski touring, sport climbing, playing go, cycling, playing guitar, sculpting, drawing, woodworking, and exploring new hobbies.
