Yacht Design and Experience Design lab working with startups and businesses to elevate their product line and brand identity.

Worked with the Owner/CEO and a small team of investors and colleagues to develop the housing solution from concept to a production ready solution. Supported the development and product release up to the hand-off to a highly respected high volume manufacturer.

Worked in the positions of Industrial Designer, Lead Design Engineer, Manager of Design Engineering & Marketing and Design Lead to carry a new product launch from concept development through to release and continued support. Working with both Hardware and Software engineers to develop a tracking and fall detection device for Assisted Living Communities.

We designed and built carbon fiber yacht tenders that successfully disrupted the yacht tender market and motivated the product category to rethink the functionality and purpose of a tender. I lead and supported the Design development, Branding, Marketing, Sales and Production of semi-custom yacht tenders. In this time, we built international partnerships with leading yacht and engine manufacturers, developed three new models that were sold locally and internationally, set-up a cutting edge prepreg carbon fiber production facility, developed a transparent and UV stable method for painting and coloring a carbon fiber weave, and patented a new integrated fender system.

A Surf/Art clothing company started with friends to explore and understand product development and branding on an intimate level with the user. With two partners and minimal funds, we developed a brand, a powerful logo, set up a sales platform through instagram, facebook and the company website and sold products wholesale to a handful of shops in Florida and Chicago. We shipped products internationally and gained international recognition within the surf community through sponsorship, creative branding and community outreach. We developed a fan base, sponsored local events and bands, utilized local and overseas manufacturing and built a well rounded brand identity within the industry. The brand was dissolved in 2015 to focus on our own endeavors.
