Design helps to tell a story of somebody's interests, their likes and dislikes. This evident in the brief when people start to say what they want to do or not do even if they do not realise it yet. Design coaxes these elements out and creates a cohesive story of the design.

As such a strong brief is important as it can guide the process through smoothly for the design to reach it's full potential. This makes design a fluid process as regardless what the brief asks for, whether it is looking for a solution or creating an experience, design has the ability to seamlessly flow through to create a story of the design that people can interact with.

In each design brief comes with its own set of constraints and opportunities which would account for the different approaches and processes in dealing with the design, resolving it. Making the designs different from one another even if on the surface it looks similar. Design makes you think, consider, do. Nothing is without purpose everything is in service to the story of the design. Adding people interacting with the design adds another chapter in the story. Over time it becomes the identity of the design.

By using sketches, diagram and models, it can help understand ideas and concepts well to further move the design process. Having technical skills in drafting, 3D modelling and editing, it can realise ideas and concepts into something that is tangible. With a strong emphasis on design briefs, the study along with imagination of hand skills and the execution of technical skills, a completed story of a design can be told with sophistication in which people can enjoy and experience wholeheartedly.
