Responsibilities:
Build scale miniatures of models based on drawings and/or photographs
Pattern making
Making soft tooling (rubber)
Casting production parts
Prepare production parts for paint
Air brush parts
Apply decals
Paint touch up of finished models
Apply a clear coat to finished models
Mix paints to match existing colors
Document work for future reference and information.

Skills and Experience:
Ability to read hard copy drawings
Ability to be resourceful and work from photos or drawings only
Knowledge of basic shop tools
Operate a lathe and vertical mill
Working in manufacturing environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to move quickly with long periods of standing
Experience with basic CAD, SolidWorks, and/or MasterCam
Ability to operate a CNC machine
Experience in aircraft, boat or other miniature models
