    Nick is currently a QA Tester at Obsidian Entertainment as well as an indie game developer in the Orange County area. His specialties are in Gameplay Programming, Class Design, Game Design and QA balance. While in search of the next big RPG challenge, he leverages his gaming knowledge to build projects from his designs. Nick feels at home when surrounded by those who proudly display their passions and dedications to exceptional game experiences.

    Skills:

    • Formally educated in C, C++, Java 7, and ActionScript languages.

    • Basic exposure to Javascript, C#, Ruby, Html 5, Lua, and XML languages.

    • Proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Flash design software.

    • Fluent with MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook in daily use.

    • Comfortable using Unity, Android SDK (Eclipse), Visual Studio, 3DS Max, Maya, and ShiVa IDE’s.

    Experience:

    • Participated in various open and closed testing for sizable releases including Diablo III, SWTOR, FFXIV, Guild Wars, Starcraft II, FireFall, Neverwinter, and Hearthstone.

    • Educated on the game design process from game design document all the way to production.

    • Published an android application called “RPG StoryGen” that generates a unique character back story out of over 24 trillion possible outcomes.

    • Elected to lead teams of 4-6 individuals in designing and presenting mock and prototype game projects for coursework.

    • Designed a prototype board game titled “Demon’s Eye” based on D&D campaign experiences and 90s console games.

    • Completed playable demo for cross platform RPG platformer game titled “Sir Knightly”.
