Designer for newborn, infant, & toddler outerwear under the Bebe d Amour label for boys & girls. Expanded the label to coats/jackets for spring/summer. Saw designs through from original concept to shipping approvals. Designed the silhouettes, assigned fabrics & trims to each style per season. Created tech packs & specs, oversaw the sample process, sourcing materials, correcting fit & technical issues. Communicated with the factories on a daily basis via email, & traveled overseas to over see production. Created CAD & catalogue presentations, aided the sales team in meetings with retailers. Oversaw & approved production samples for each look, per each retailers specifications due to price point.
Also a designer of cold weather head & hand accessories, as well as technical ski gloves & mittens, for boys & girls from newborn through teen/junior. In addition to cold weather items, also designed play hats, holiday/novelty hats, fashion hats, & baseball caps. Worked to create trend presentations, mood boards, color palates, seasonal catalogues, CAD & POG presentations. Worked with knits, hand knits, woven's, denim, & technical fabrics. Communicated with the factories to create samples, adjusting designs for retailers needs regarding price points, safety issues, or color stories to coordinate with outwear programs. Worked with designing for a wide range of retailers - big box, mid tier, high end, & independent boutiques - both under private labels and under Nolan's label Mini-nits.
Designed cold weather, fashion, novelty, and play hats under the licenses for both the Carter's, & OshKosh brands, including Child of Mine, & Just One Year.
For both the outerwear collection and the accessories, I worked with developing original art work, knit layouts, repeats/prints, screen prints, gripper art, embroideries, patches, and graphics. Working heavily with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, as well as Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point on a Mac.

Assisted in the design of cold weather accessories. Checked in, photographed and managed samples, approved fit and styling, communicated with factories in regards to corrections, created CAD and POG presentations to coordinate with sales meetings, and buys.
Approved color for Carters items, checking body fabrics, yarn dies, swatches, embroidery thread, appliqués, and lining.
