Michael Nesmith

Michael was born and raised in the greater Chicago area. He attended Gallaudet University where he earned degrees in Mulitmedia Design, Graphic Design and Film and Video. He received his post-baccalaureate certificate and MFA degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. As a deaf artist, Michael experiences the world visually and uses American Sign Language as his primary form of communication. Michael currently lives in Logan Square with his dogs, Wendy and Fink and his cat, Eames .
