Paola Perez

Paola Perez is a digital illustration major at the American Academy of Art in Chicago. She specializes in conceptual work, bringing in various uses of color to add mood and life to her pieces. Her main inspiration comes from Dreamworks films and their concept art books, loving their use of shape, color, and line. She is also deeply influenced by music, always listens to playlists while drawing. Paola strives to tell stories through her artwork, whether by making the landscapes believable or through the mood and actions of her characters. In early 2017, she will be graduating with a BFA in digital illustration and will to become a concept artists for future animated films.
