eBay at GOSF 2014

The GOSF days are that time of the year when the already competitive e-commerce industry reaches the highest point of its rivalry.

eBay.in had to stand out and ensure that it was the preferred destination for all GOSF shoppers.
We devised a campaign plan that used the recent fiascos of the Big Billion Day as well as the authenticity issues with Snapdeal with a campaign called - #ItsForRealONeBay

We highlighted the troubles faced by users on these sales while pushing our deals as genuine. Users had huge gratifications like tickets to the World Cup and a google glass to make the choice an easy one.

The campaign activities on twitter garnered over 90,000 tweets and over a 100 million timeline deliveries with the campaign hashtags and keywords trending in India as well as the Worldwide charts. The campaign garnered close to 2 lakh engagements and got over 30,000 clicks-to-website for the brand.
