The designer of this show and I strived to completely re-invent the proscenium space of USC Upstate's main stage. The play lends itself to cyclical movement, so I brought the idea to the table to set this world in an arena setting. Very minimal but impactful, this was the first ever Upstate had re-envisioned their space in this way. This allowed us to literally bring the audience into the world of the play and create an intimate experience.
