A 15+ year professional career in the design for production industry has made me an efficient, modern designer.
My strengths are vector creation, design for print and web for multiple applications, digital drawing, photo editing, mock-ups (I'm really good with an Olfa), and wide format printing and printer maintenance. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Flexi are my design tools of choice. A Surface and digital pen are bringing new meaning to "digital drawing" for me, helping to quickly create custom graphics for design projects.
Communication is the goal. You have mere seconds to make an impression. Make it clear, bold, communicative, modern, and if possible, multi-purpose. Having worked with companies such as Target, Walmart, and CVS, I have learned to design for specific target audiences while retaining the feel of relatability. -
