My interest in Sustainability and environmental design was initiated in my 2nd year of Undergraduate studies when I was introduced to the concept of Climate, climatology and climate change. The subject made me question how the building affects the ecosystem and the need to understand it more became my major field of interest. Studying the nuances of passive technology and environmental design pushed me towards pursuing a Masters in this field and this journey got me to the US.

My tryst with energy efficiency and building performance at Carnegie Mellon University has sealed the deal for me and this is the line I wish to remain with all life, making this my chosen profession as it is more than just a field of study to me. It has been the way my brain has worked over the years and I truly believe the earth is what I wish to work for and anything that I can do to make it a better place should be done.
