Hello, this is Dr. Yunru Shen. I am a Fashion Professor and Educational Leader with over 13 years of higher education teaching experience. My work bridges fashion art, leadership, and education, with a focus on curriculum innovation, cultural identity, and diversity in creative practice.

I have participated in several research grants serving African American students and led studies on female and minority leadership, with a particular emphasis on Asian communities. My strengths—a growth mindset, positive leadership, and persistence—help me effectively address challenges and drive continuous improvement in both creative and academic settings.

My research interests include gender and education, women in leadership, minority educators, higher education, and the cultural dynamics of fashion.
