This video portfolio demonstrates how UX is incorporated into the full lifecycle of a mobile app development project, in theis case the 'Closr' app.
UX portfolios are typically a series of interrelated artefacts such as wireframes and various fidelity prototypes.
They may look pretty but what do they mean?
With this portfolio piece I also wanted to create an 'actual' experience for the person viewing it as much as demonstrating a few UX methods used to make Closr awesome! Enjoy :)
I believe starting with a problem and showing the steps used to come to an end result is far better than showing a nice clean polished prototype. My methods are therefore, deliberately 'messy' and 'low tech'.
User experience people should be first and foremost problem solvers, I think this kind of a video portfolio demonstrates that well.
