Who am I professionally?

I am a highly skilled and experienced designer and art director. Throughout my career I have touched just about every kind of job you can think of, from web design and branding, packaging and full blown campaign design and implementation to designing wraps and interiors of private jets, that’s right, jets!

My experience stretches almost two decades. Over that time I have been lucky enough to design for some pretty good clients, most recently Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment as an ongoing freelance designer. I have an extensive background in both design and prepress meaning I not only know how to make things look good but my files and work are technically sound. I am a team player that can take a leadership role and feels equally comfortable in client presentations as in brainstorming sessions.

I am a self motivated, problem solving creative with an understanding of how the industry works and what client expectations are. I have led teams in the past and been responsible for directing and running a studio. I believe that as long as every team member is focused on the same goal there is no problem or deadline that cannot be met. I feel that no question is unimportant and that no idea is a bad one, it may not be right for the situation but it might spark something that is right. I am proud of the work I produce and enjoy motivating others around me to be proud of their work. Everywhere I have worked I have produced excellent work that has been effective, unique and sometimes even award winning. Most importantly the client is happy. I am an excellent multitasker, capable of juggling multiple jobs, schedules and demands (with three kids you get good at that kind of thing, adapt or die trying!).
