* Responsible of designing all the mens and womens activewear line for TLF Apparel * Research and integrate current trends into the line * Design based on ergonomically correct style lines and construction for comfort and ease, always keeping our customer and athletes in mind * Incorporate textile finishes and technologies appropriate for the garment (water-wicking, anti-microbial, warming, compression, etc.) * Keep in constant communication with factories thru out notion, fabric and product development * Establish and source line thru imports from: Guatemala, Colombia, China, India, Pakistan, etc. * Attend fittings and critique construction and fit details on garments * Design and illustrate exclusive continuous prints and embossed fabrics for the activewear line * Approve final designs and fabrics along with CEO and Sourcing Director * Compose Technical Design packets for each garment for manufactures along with Technical Designer * Delegate work to the Assistant Designer and Interns with weekly and daily projects * Travel for trend research, product development and sourcing * Assist in fabric development specific for our garments and customers * Maintain Production Reports, WIP Reports and Size Break Down & Shortages Reports * Develop and separate graphics for screen printing and tee shirt collections * Coordinate and style garments for campaign and website photoshoots * Develop Lookbooks and Line Sheets for use in the Sales department * Create graphics for website, social media and print use
