Introduction to Salcohm

Originally founded as Salcohm & Associates in 2007 by Arch. Salim Komora, whose track record spans 12 years during which his reputation and innovation in dealing with a multitude of architectural and branding projects lead to the establishment of the ‘Salcohm’ brand.

This young architectural practice specializes in Residential and Commercial developments, grown steadily since its inception and has already built up a portfolio of high quality work across Kenya and Somalia.

About Arch. Salim Komora

Arch. Komora has over 10 years working experience as an architect both in public sector and private sector. He served as an intern in the ministry of Public Works and Settlement / General directorate of disaster affairs-Ankara, Turkey in 2005 where he worked on various Government projects. Later came back to Kenya after working as an architect with Decore Mimarlik-Ankara, Turkey and has been involved in architectural and design services encompassing commercial, leisure, research, retail and residential developments.

The practice provides a full range of design services including architectural design, interior design and spatial planning. All aspects from initial planning and briefing, through to detailed design development and technical documentation to on-site administration is completed as well as post completion analysis.
