I am a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Industrial Design. I am currently working for the Nakashima Woodworker Company in New Hope, PA and split my time between there and Brooklyn, NY. I love Furniture and Furniture Design and am hoping to one day open my own Furniture Studio based around reclaimed wood.

I have the absolute pleasure of working for the top Furniture company specializing in the Crafts Movement. George Nakashima started a legacy that has continued with his daughter Mira Nakashima. Specializing in slab furniture, Nakashima has been gifted with one of the the most unique collections of raw lumber, local Black Walnut to exotics from India, Africa, etc. I assist Mira in drafting working drawings for the clients approval as well as for the craftsmen to use as blueprints when fabricating each unique product. I handle client relationships and wood selection. Because of the wood's uniqueness, clients come from all over to visit the shop and hand select their own slabs for whichever project they have in mind. I document standards and make standard working drawings in SolidWorks. I also have the pleasure of being able to craft small products such as stools, small tables, breadboards, candle holders, pencil holders, etc. Other responsibilities include: Wood Inventory Management, SolidWorks Standards Drawings, Drafting, Client Relations, Customer Service, Craftsman, and anything else they ask of me.
