I believe the 3 main keys to being a successful Illustrator and Designer are Creativity, Versatility & Reliability. The reason I pursued a career in illustration & design rather than
fine art is because I realized in addition to my artistic skills, I have a naturally positive and collaborative spirit. This, combined with my strong personal work ethic lends itself well to working in a team environment.
My background is in Traditional Illustration, but I’ve found my home in the Toy & Entertainment Industries. I have strong hand drawing, painting and editorial skills, as well as proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite.
Above all I would describe myself as a Creative Problem Solver.I bring a healthy balance of creative enthusiasm and professionalism to any team, and I am able to communicate and articulate ideas both visually and verbally. Being the creative magpie that I am, I especially enjoy the research and development stages of a project. This includes interpreting current fashion, media and tech tends, as well as innovative packaging and product design into new and existing IP. My focus is always on creating an end product that reflects the care, quality and joy with which it is made.
The past few years I’ve focused on freelancing, and I’ve often been called the ‘Secret Weapon’ by my clients. If you are looking to recruit a ‘secret weapon’ on to your creative team - then let’s talk!
