About
I am a Fashion Design graduate from Blanche Macdonald in Vancouver British Columbia. Since graduating I have sought out as many fashion related and life experiences that I can get my hands on!
Over the past few years I have explored the international fashion world and gained hands on experience. International internships I have completed include two in New York City, Anna Sui and Walter Baker, and two companies in Melbourne Australia, Engine Swim and Justine.
I have participated in back of house and front of house positions in Mercedes Benz New York Fashion week, L'Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival, Sydney Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and Vancouver Eco Fashion week.
My passions include most obviously participating and growing in the fashion world. I am also very passionate about developing relationships with people, and the excitement of learning new and challenging things.
My variety of experiences and my willingness to travel and take chances, has helped me to understand and effectively participate in many different areas of highly successful fashion companies. Experience has taught me that my professional value adds up to the following:

Having a well rounded perspective on the industry is important so I can understand and communicate effectively.

Merchandised and organized the Walter Baker label within Macys. Gained hands on experience in the creation of lookbooks. Prepared samples for seasonal release: check garments for swing tags, correct labeling, and basic quality control.

Assisted the head of Production in the developing and creation of the garments produced for the Fall 2012/2013 New York Fashion Week runway show.
