Shreenija Vadayar

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Creative Technology & Design Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, with minors in Business and Leadership Studies, and a certificate in Engineering Leadership. My education emphasized the intersection of engineering rigor, human-centered design, and hands-on making. Through project-based coursework and studio environments, I developed strong skills in physical product design, CAD modeling, prototyping, and design-for-manufacturing, working across materials, mechanisms, electronics, and fabrication processes. I regularly collaborated in multidisciplinary teams, translating conceptual ideas into functional, manufacturable prototypes while balancing user needs, feasibility, and iteration speed. My senior capstone project, Woven Voices, was a wearable technology installation combining physical fabrication, electronics, lighting, and storytelling to explore human connection and resilience. This experience reinforced my interest in creating meaningful, tangible products that integrate engineering with thoughtful design. In parallel, my business and leadership studies strengthened my understanding of product strategy, communication, and cross-functional collaboration, allowing me to approach design challenges with both technical depth and systems-level thinking. Overall, my education prepared me to contribute effectively to product development teams that value creativity, craftsmanship, and real-world execution.
