Robin Jerome

I never expected to feel at home with a camera in my hand.

I found photography towards the end of high school. Since then, my knowledge has grown. I quickly fell in love and became a self-taught photographer, very determined to hone my skills and do the things I've always wanted to do. I taught myself studio lighting techniques, photo editing techniques, and advanced photography such as capturing infrared images.

Photography has taught me something which others spend their whole lives trying to learn: To never give up. When a challenge bears its head, there is always a solution. That nothing is impossible, that there are no unachievable dreams, if you're determined enough.

I believe my skills in photography and my knowledge of sociology compliment one another. I have always been intrigued by the workings of societies, from small groups of people to the methods of entire nations. I believe that photography brings a connection to an artistic approach to building connections with people around the world.
