About
Now in his 7th year, Gregory is the Senior Industrial Designer with TTI Floorcare leading designs in the carpet and hardfloor category for Hoover vacuums. Previously, he spent 3 years with the Kobalt Product Design and Development Department for Lowes Home Improvement driving key initiatives and product development programs expanding the brand presence of Kobalt as a major player in the power tool category.
Prior to becoming a part of the Kobalt Design team, Gregory was part of the team at Cesaroni Design Associates, an award winning design firm, in Glenview, IL, a suburb of Chicago. Working with a small team of designers, Gregory led projects spanning multiple industries and markets including but not exclusively in fitness, small electronics and home appliances. -

Industrial DesignColumbia College Chicago2008 - 2011Continuing his education in design, Gregory received a second Bachelors Degree in Industrial Design, mentored by department founder, Kevin Henry, and featured in his book, Design for Product Designers. Graduating with a 3.5 GPA, Gregory placed on the Deans list every semester during his time at Columbia College Chicago.

B.A. Research PsychologyPurdue University, West Lafayette IN2003 - 2008Purdue's Psychology department focused heavily in research methodology. As an undergrad, Gregory was able to contribute to developing research programs, distributing the exercises and aid graduate students in interpreting the results for the program lead.

Responsibilities included Product Strategy Forecasting on future Kobalt power tools, while maintaining a focus on key initiatives set forth by the Kobalt Private Brands team. Presented program directives and strategies to Senior Directors and Vice Presidents within the Lowe’s organization. Lead design on the Kobalt Miter Saw AC and DC product lines as well as the complete redesign of the Kobalt Hand tools product categories.
