Industrial Designer and Project Manager of an all new golf cart for public roads targeted at enclosed “cart only” communities from initial conception through commercialization. Beginning with initial concepts and market research, I directed the Industrial Design, Innovation & Technology of this product with regular reporting to the President, CEO and VP/Manufacturing & Product Development. Because of my previous experience working with teams in China, I successfully managed a team of surface, mechanical and electrical engineers in China while co-developing the chassis in the US. This included management of developed outsourced components, cost effective design and manufacturing considerations while upholding the standards presented to my client. I provided direction and guidance to mold and tooling engineers, soft goods, wheel manufacturers, electronics for display, and lighting suppliers to ensure function, fit and finish met our production standards.
