Design to me is a combined process of observation, thinking, practice and communication. The design process I have set on through three years of my design education are; 1. to observe and study the users. 2. make sense of the data and information gathered from the users. 3. elaborate thinking and ideas through practice. 4. communicate the idea in the way it is most effective to the audience.

Concept DesignerLG Open Innovation TeamMay 2014 - Sep 2014 (4 months)Indepth market research for home appliance in the North American market including user interviews, online data analysis and surveys. Concepts went from sketches to 3D renderings and was reviewed by LG design group.

Art DirectorNeutral CycleMay 2014 - Aug 2014 (3 months)Design and directed a new campaign package for “Big Yellow Ride“,a Champaign-Urbana based tandem bike rental program. Scouted locations for bike routes, and directed photoshoots with photographers. Partnered with programers to create website with functional reservation system. Campaign is later featured on WICD ABC 15 news channel and Local Newspaper News Gazette.

Product DesignerHuaxin Yichuang Industrial Design Co., Ltd.Jun 2013 - Sep 2013 (3 months)Participated in 1st round and 2nd round ideation for furniture design commissioned by local Province Museum. Compiled, and presented branding and marketing positioning report for client. Assisted them in choosing the right direction and created the whole graphic package and interior design.

Product Design InternHuaxin Yichuang Industrial Design Co., Ltd.Jun 2012 - Aug 2012 (2 months)Created shopping bag and umbrella for Beijing Gift project for Beijing Tourism Bureau. Project went from concept to product and was sold in beijingliwu official webstore, souvenier shops, and subway stores across Beijing. Shishahai Pedal Boat design Project: Followed team to meet with client and assisted in building model.
