Bimbo - Day of the Dead bread

Global baking giant Grupo Bimbo is the manufacturer of Mexico’s most popular sandwich bread. The company required packaging and product design for a limited edition Day of the Dead bread.

Our goal was to come up with a concept that strategically targeted international expansion into the U.S., while strengthening Grupo Bimbo’s ties to Mexicans and Hispanics from distinct backgrounds. For this, we adorned the limited-edition boxes with a Mexican Day of the Dead skull, surrounded by traditional flowers and designs, while prominently displaying the company’s highly recognizable logo above the skull and “Pan de Muerto” below.
