About
"Eye-catching, enticing, appealing": all the elements needed to catch our attention. However, what people need is more than surface-level design. People deserve someone who will care to personalize a solution for them. Someone always willing to learn. Someone who will keep humans at the center of design. So, I’d like to change those words to “empathy, research, and creating a memorable experience.”
Quality user research and human-centered design are what I strive for in my work. Seeing the problem from the user’s perspective is essential when designing for a client. As an emerging human-centered designer with fresh ideas, I want to use any power I have to provide the right solutions and be the someone who listens. -

Bachelor of Arts in Design StudiesUniversity of Illinois at Chicago2022 - 2025Combining methodologies and processes from both graphic design and industrial design, Design Studies focuses on the human experience in the design of communications, objects, and/or services. The BA program introduces design making and design thinking in a studio environment and engages students in various forms of cultural production. The primary goal is the provision of a focused introduction to design practices within the context of a liberal arts education.

Graphic Design InternSweeney Taud StudiozChicago, ILSep 2023 - Dec 2023 (3 months)Sweeney Taud Studioz has provided me with many opportunities to work as a Graphic Designer, in both a business and marketing perspective. Working in an environment with start-up barbers and hair stylists, I have started meaningful relationships with my clients for designing their logos, business cards, and apparel. In addition, I have created several designs for flyers and social media posts, to promote upcoming events at Sweeney Taud, as well as for hiring and leaving reviews.

Business Administration & Graphic Design InternChanging Children's Worlds FoundationGeneva, ILFeb 2022 - May 2022 (3 months)Changing Children's Worlds Foundation (CCWF) strives to create a safer environment for families and children. I helped with administrative, fundraiser, and graphic design tasks at CCWF. I worked with a team to create graphics for CCWF's annual report infographics and acquired donations for our "Stand Up For Kids" spring fundraiser. In addition, I helped create the book cover to CCWF's Caregiver booklet.
