Willem Boshoff

I am currently a Product Design undergraduate studying at The University Of the West of England as well as a passionate, dedicated and daily maker of all things, particularly robots.

I've always been very excited about the conception and development of emerging technologies and the products which are inevitably driven to market by the human centred design approach to the innovation of existing as well as new technologies.

Robotics, design ,electronics and creative engineering in particular have spurred an insatiable lifelong interest for me.

The conception and execution of projects which integrate electronics, mechanics and computation into forms which provide use on a practical basis forms the core of my research. The projects which I have undertaken vary between the artistic and functional but all have sought to solve a problem, even if its just putting a smile on someone's face.

Through many years of self directed work and study I have cultivated an efficient and pragmatic approach to the development and creation of new solutions in areas such as: educational robotics, portable audio and sustainable, human centred product design. All of which and more I enjoy learning about within parameters set by each new project, undertaken both in business and in life.
