I am currently working on some private projects and planning on continuing with my master's thesis project: a Personal Portable Cooling Device for Active Workers. The basis of my designs begin with the users' input and feedback as designing with the user first creates a more successful outcome. My team was a Finalists at the Stanford Design Challenge 2017-2018 with our app for Teens and Older Adults called, "Seven Bridges." I was also a Finalist for the Hearth Homes Inclusive Design Scholarship, featuring my projects focused on Universal Design. My work at TechShop had given me much knowledge and experience with laser cutters, 3D printing, picking up new skills quickly, and working with groups. I look fully to efficiency and aesthetics in my designs - as my inspiration comes from the Gilbreths - Frank and Lillian - who were efficiency experts in the 1940s. Their work is timeless.
