Powered by a relentless optimism kept in check by a meticulous inner critic, Alex harnesses these opposing forces to generate designs both bold in vision and grounded in reality. He delights in creating compelling, emotionally irresistible products and stories.
As a product designer, he specializes in synthesizing the theoretical into the physical--while being sensitive to diverse inputs and stakeholders. At Continuum, he's most likely to be found realizing complex furniture systems or iterating better use experiences for novel medical treatments.
His work while attending the University of Cincinnati has been consistently recognized, including an IDEA Award, an International Housewares Association student award, and multiple University-centric awards, including being chosen as the Outstanding Senior from his 2012 graduating design class. -
