I held the Vicepresidency of this Commission from 2010 until 2012. Our main focus was to promote the industrial design practice at Goverment and privately owned companies

I was responsible for creating new product concepts, sketching, modelmaking and rendering for client presentations. I worked as a team member of the product design department, liasing with the other internal departments. I also suprevised design interns at summer time. I went along with thesenior level staff to presentations for potential clients as well as presentations with ongoing projects. We designed medical products, toys, electronics, hosewares, home appliances and POP displays

I focused my research on the sensorial characteristics of products. I developed a prototype which you could actually "hear" textures by means of a glove and wireless headphones. With this product I developed an application to reduce stress, with the help of a medical grant and a Boston hospital. The product helped peaople reduce the body`s stress reaction by allowing the person to focus on the sound of their own breathing, just postioning the hand around one´s throat
