Antiquated non-responsive account view design.
IA for original account view application. Through the use of IA I was able to visually explain the frankly scary amount of outdated information that was being captured yet no longer used as well as helping the development team identify outdated, retired databases that were still being pinged. Through the use of this IA exercise were able to securing funding for an entirely new database, this allowed us to retire the existing and outdated databases, not just saying we were doing it as was done in the past. This led to a much simpler coding effort on the dev side of the project helping insure that all developers were using the same DB and making the save calls for data, instead of having SIX different calls all for the clients phone number, of those six calls we were forcing 3 entirely different formats for input and display.
Responsive clickable prototype for testing. While preliminary rounds of testing were done with Balsamiq wireframes, I felt that due to the extreme changes in the site that we would need to test the new capabilities such as draggable and collapsable panels, drag and drop document upload and retrieval and customization through white label branding,
Final Design for launch. This completely responsive dashboard based system is slated for launch some time in 2018.
IA for final design, including tags for data cells that list the style that should be called as well as database calls for developers making this a one stop deliverable for design and development.
Through the use of Bootstrap for the redesign and built we were able to give our clients a clean, informative responsive design that was ideal for the mobile experience. While iOS and Android apps are in the pipeline, at this time we were able to meet our customer expectations quickly and efficiently through the use of thorough UX testing and best practices.

Account View Redesign - Build

Complete redesign of antiquated account view SaaS application. This web app is used by 50,000+ financial clients to review investments, daily account activity, request funds, review tax statements and other financial documents, to contact their financial advisors as well as other daily tasks.

Not only was this application 10+ years old and built on early versions of .Net, it was not responsive giving the user no mobile access. After discussion with the Business Owner, major stakeholders and developers it was decided to move forward using a custom CSS set and Bootstrap, thus giving a fully responsive mobile option while replacing the desktop view with an updated design, this approach saved time and project dollars.
