I am passionate about design and I work hard to understand and communicate the client's strategic objective.

When approaching a design project I first try to find out as much as possible. What is the product? Who is the competition? Who is receiving the message, and how do you get this their attention? What is the scope of the project?

When a picture starts forming in my head of what the communication is and is not, I put it down on paper. I brainstorm, and experiment with images, typefaces, and color combinations. I present a wide variety of design approaches. If the client recognizes his/her idea in my sketches the process continues until design concepts are refined. I then plan out the production process to fit the timeline and budget. When the artwork is final I output it. Print pieces are handed of to the printer with careful instructions and press checks. A website would be optimized for the internet, tested and debugged.

I have a Masters in Art in New Media from the Academy of Art in San Francisco. My undergraduate degree is in Advertising, with a minor in English.
