HEMO (HEALTH MONITORING SYSTEM) - This system consists of a main base where all the clinical history of the patient is stored. The patient wears a patch that links him or her online with HEMO. The branches work as glowing sensors which can be programmed hierarchically, so the
Pressure cooker - PRESSURE COOKER (2004). This concept was developed during my internship at LLUSCÁ DESIGN in Barcelona. This Pressure cooker was designed based on the European women market. One of the biggest issues they consider while buying a pressure cooker is safety; considering this, emphasis was made on making it secure but without loosing a slight and stylish design. Most pressure cookers in the market that want to reinforce security, have a huge metal structure on top that makes them look huge and not easy to deal with. When buying, women also consider how easy to handle it is. Every pressure cooker is easy to handle when it is empty, but they are always used filled with water or food. Considering this, a handle that goes from one side to the other was designed, making the lid stay secure under both joints, so users can get a good grip, reducing accidents. Another thing considered was how easy to open and close it is. When the user grabs the handle, she has a small button in the middle of the grip, which works as a joystick button that moves back and forth opening and closing it easily.

CETRO - BECK´S PRIZE "DESIGN A KEY AND WHAT IT OPENS" (2004). * Project selected to be exhibited in Milan during the “Salone Internazionale del Mobile” (April 2004). The fast flow of information across the different media and the risk of being lost or misused is one of the biggest worries nowadays. As the theme had no restrictions, the project was aimed towards the protection of digital information. What better key than your own body! Based on this idea, the project focused on using our body as an extension of our security and authenticity. CETRO´s key is shaped as a scepter, symbolizing the power it has. It contains a digital device which encrypts information (clinical history, memories, files, etc) and only lets the owner transfer or see the information in it. Along with this key comes a CPU where all the information is safely stored. How does it work? The owner holds the key and places his or her thumb on the middle of the key, it then scans and verifies the fingerprint and unlocks the encrypted information, so it can be seen or transferred.
