Collaborated with Senior Designers and Packaging Engineers on the design of new and current products. Ideated future product innovations and created designs using surface modeling in Solidworks. Created a guideline for better human factors practices and also gained a thorough understanding of plastic injection and blow molding.

World Design Summer Camp

Participated in a 10 day design collaborative with 200 students from around the world in Hong Kong with a visit to Mainland China. In a team of multidisciplinary members, looked at how public space, specifically parks, could engage a community. I then presented our idea to a large audience of all the involved students, faculty, and patrons.

IDO - Design Workshop

One of four students sent to represent RIT in a six week long international design workshop at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Six Universities including RIT participated in this workshop centered around the problems encountered in a city with an aging population. Led a multicultural team which conducted human centered design research and delivered a comprehensive design solution to strategic partners in Hong Kong.

National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance

Collaborated with students of other disciplines from 9 different colleges coming up with ideas to help uni- versities reduce their large ecological footprints and save money. My group of 4 students of both engineers and designers alike created a novel reusable to-go container aimed at university dinning halls. We have already made several prototypes, and are currently seeking manufacturers, trademark protection and a provisional patent.

Responsible for the design of all print advertising and publications. I worked with the General Manager and her assistant on a daily basis creating and revising the designs. I was the sole creative professional throughout the 2009 season, and was responsible for all graphic work, from initial concept to print.
